Happy Friday guys. Today a review about the Ibis Canning Town hotel in London. If you have checked out my March photo diary post. You may now I went to London and as promised I’m back with a new hotel review. Also if you saw my London vlog you could see a sneak peek of this hotel.
Ibis Canning Town London opened November 2017. So really a fresh hotel. Canning town offers free WiFi in all of there rooms and this hotel is animal friendly. So you can bring your dog if you want. Also this hotel is not located nearby Oxford street. But in front of the hotel you find the tube station, which brings you within 15 minutes to Oxford street. You can recover from all the hectic in your room.
The room wasn’t that big. But we’ve got enough space for just the two of us. Besides that you are only in the hotel room when you are going to bed! Talking about beds. The bed was really big. Plenty of space and slept so lovely. Also the room offers a cute desk and of course a tv. If you look to the left photo of the whole room you see a small closet. Although it is small, I could store my suitcase in there and all of my clothes!
Also the bathroom wasn’t really big. But you have got enough space in the shower. I really like that. And everyday warm water. A big plus for me. For me personally I like to put all of my stuff at a sink. So this one could have been a lot bigger. But I was really spoiled in my hotel in New York. I can store everything in the bathroom. So that’s really personally. But it looked really fresh.
Also what I missed in the bathroom was a electric socket. I always blow-dry my hair in the bathroom cause of the perfect light. But maybe that is a personal thing as well.
Also if you want to grab some drinks or grab a pizza. Go to the bar and you can order it. Such a good service. We arrived a little bit to early but we chilled in the lobby and shared a pizza together. Which was really delicious.
Last but definitely not least. A hotel review is not complet without having some breakfast. For me that is the perfect start of the day. Especially when I’m on holiday – I enjoyed it really much. But you can get of course some toast, croissants, or yoghurt. But you can also go for the English breakfast. Bacon, scrambled eggs and beans. The options are endless. Also you can get some fresh juices and coffee or tea.
So if you can see Wendy and I had a perfect stay at the Ibis Canning Town hotel in London. The location is perfect, you can really leave the hectic city of London and take some rest in the hotel room. Also a big plus is that the tube station is in front of the hotel. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. If you decided to book this hotel – I suggest to book your flight to London City Airport. It’s the nearest airport.
