Yay like I promised in my photo dairy post from last week – I’m back with my new favorite hotspot in Rotterdam and that is the YoYo Fresh Tea Bar! I discovered this cool hotspot when a blogger shares a delicious picture of her drink. But first some information about this tea bar: Dazzling, different and delicious – this is what YoYo! Fresh Tea Bar is all about. We want to bring a memorable experience of tea drinking to the Netherlands and an oriental vibe to your life. Also the ingredients they use for Bubble tea or the Insantea’s are directly imported from Taiwan. It was found in March 2012 by two brothers and they had a vision to change the experience of enjoying a drink together in The Netherland.
Bubble teas are really popular in Taiwan. But nowadays, I see while shopping in Rotterdam or Dordrecht some girls are enjoying these kind of drinks. But I hear you: What is a Bubble Tea. It’s a combination from tea, milk, syrup and the amazing Tapioca Pearls – which you’ll find underneath in your cup. The Tapioca pearls are like little gummy bears.
You have three locations in Rotterdam and two are located in the city. The first one is nearby the station but that location only serves the bubble teas and other drinks. I went to the second one which is located at the end of the “koopgoot” For the exact address I’ll add the information in the end of this blog post. Anyways as you can see here above the interior is minmal and the bar is not that big, but I love the little details like the pink flowers and the hammock chair is so funny.
YUMMY!
Why I went to the second location that is nearby the “Koopgoot” is because only there they have the Insaniteas. A Mixture between tea and milk and some lovely toppings. The first time I went there I tried the “Nutella Insanitea” based on chocolate milk tea. Last weekend I tried the “Strawberry Insanitea” based on a Strawberry Milkshake. Which is for now my personal favorite. Don’t get me started about the toppings, you’ll get an ice cream cone, some candy and cotton candy. It’s not healthy but so worth trying it. Also if you don’t like Nutella or Strawberry you can try the YoYo Insanitea based on a Hong Kong Milk Tea.
I hope you enjoyed this hotspot post about the YoYo Fresh Tea bar. And let me know if you would like to try it? P.S. while you are reading this I’m heading off to Amsterdam for three events. So follow me on snapchat: @kevingeurts89 to see what I’ve been up to. But also expect some blogpost about these events. For now I wish you all a great day!

This looks insane Hahahah!
Must have been a real nice tea, although it looks like ice cream or something. Next time when I’m in Rotterdam I’ll give it a try :)

Ja, I love it. En ik tref het, er zit er eentje schuin achter mijn huis. Op de Zeedijk in Amsterdam vind je die!
Ik ben vooral fan van de watermeloen smaak. To die for.

Dit ziet er dus zo goddelijk uit hé. Ik zou normaal niet zo snel naar zo’n tentje gaan, maar als ik die drankjes zo zie is het inderdaad het proberen waard! Nice!
