Today I have totally something different here on my blog. A few weeks ago I saw a Acai bowl on someones Instagram and I was like what is that. So I did some research and I said to my friends I’m gonna make an Acai bowl and some of them didn’t know what it was – so I thought if they don’t know what about my followers and maybe it’s cool to share it with them.
First of all let me tell you more about the Acai Berry. It is very small and purple and it full of antioxidants which is really good for your body – but not only for the inside also for the outside think of your hair and skin. So it’s really healthy it also increase your energy levels and it is good for your immune system. So a big plus if you tell me.
Here is my Acai Bowl Recipe:
INGREDIENTS ACAI PURÉE:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons of Acai powder
- 1/2 cup of almond milk (I used coconut milk)
- If you don’t like strawberries of banana just add what you like.
- Strawberries sliced
- Half of a Banana sliced
- Goji berries
- or any fruit that you like. Kiwi, cocos, just make a party on top.
Okay this is really easy because to be honest it’s a sort of an smoothie but then different. I just put everything in my blender but you can also add the powder and the frozen fruit and after everything is blended just add the milk. Little tip remove skin from the banana before you’ll put in your freezer.
After everything is blended together just put it in a bowl and add everything that you like. I forgot to add the cocos snips.
You can eat the Acai Bowl as breakfast but I did it as lunch and I was full for the whole day – and of course it was really delicious.
